Manchester United have finally found some consistency in their Premier League form after a long time. They are currently unbeaten in their last five matches and sit just one point behind the top four. The fans will certainly hope that the team continues this good run.
Manchester United have spent a significant amount of money strengthening their attacking lineup. The new arrivals were just beginning to find their rhythm with the rest of the team when Benjamin Sesko picked up an injury against Tottenham after a strong tackle from Van de Ven. The Slovak striker is expected to be out for a long period.
As a result, the club management now face a major problem and are exploring options to bring in a new striker during the winter transfer window. Recent reports suggest that Manchester United have identified a former Barcelona forward who could be a perfect candidate for the role.
According to transfer correspondent Pete O’Rourke, who spoke on the latest episode of Football Insider’s Inside Track Podcast, Manchester United are among several Premier League clubs interested in signing former Barcelona player and Brazilian talent Vitor Roque. Chelsea and Tottenham are also reportedly in the race for the youngster.

Roque joined Barcelona in 2024 but was unable to impress and has since returned to Brazil to join Palmeiras, where he has rediscovered his form. The 20-year-old has already scored 20 goals and provided five assists in 52 matches for Palmeiras.
Roque could be an excellent addition to the current Manchester United squad. He could lead the attack while Sesko recovers and might even provide competition for the starting position once the Slovak returns to action.
Apart from Roque, Manchester United have also shown interest in Real Madrid forward Endrick, who is struggling under Xabi Alonso. However, that move appears unlikely as Olympique Lyon are currently in advanced talks to secure a loan deal for the player.
There is still some time before the winter transfer window opens, and Manchester United will need to maintain their unbeaten run despite Sesko’s absence. Meanwhile, several United players are away on international duty and will return on November 25 for the home match against Everton.
