After having a very busy summer transfer window and acquiring some of the finest talents in world football, the Liverpool management is still eyeing every possible opportunity to bolster their attack as well as their defence.

At the start of the season, the team has been performing quite well under Arne Slot’s strategic brilliance but they have lost their way a bit. Three consecutive losses across all competitions have suddenly raised questions about this team. Many are wondering whether too many new additions were made in the summer.

There is no doubt about the potential of the new arrivals like Alexander Isak and Florian Wirtz, but their best is yet to be fully unlocked in the Liverpool jersey.

On the other hand, the club are already being linked with a possible future addition. According to Spanish sports outlet Fichajes, Lierpool’s plan is to approach Nico Williams with an offer of €75 million.

Liverpool Target Athletic Bilbao Star To Strengthen Attack

The 23-year-old is exceptional with his dribbling, speed, and creativity, and as the management focuses on building an attack around young talents, he could fit perfectly into Slot’s plans. He can play on both wings. Luis Diaz was never really replaced and sooner or later, Mohamed Salah will need to be replaced as well.

Acquiring Williams will not be a piece of cake. Barcelona have tried and failed in the past. His contract runs until 2035, which may force Liverpool to dig deep into their pockets to secure his signature.

He is an exceptional talent, even though his numbers might not pop out of the stats sheet. If Liverpool are able to sign him, it could turn out to be an excellent addition to Slot’s squad. But it is unlikely that a €75 million offer will get the job done for the Premier League champions.
