At the start of the season, Liverpool have been left facing an injury crisis, which might have played a part in the club’s two consecutive defeats in the Premier League and three across all competitions. Finding the right alternatives in every position has become a challenge for Arne Slot in his pursuit to defend the Reds’ title.

Liverpool have spent a significant amount of money on bringing in some of the best attacking talents in the world, including Hugo Ekitike and Alexander Isak. Additionally, Florian Wirtz has also been signed for the number 10 role. But the club failed to secure a quality left-winger following the departure of Luis Diaz.

Although there’s little doubt regarding the talents of the players who joined, Liverpool haven’t been at their best and looked rather lacklustre on some occasions in front of goal. It’s true that the new arrivals do need some time to settle into the club, but they might benefit from further enhancements to their forward line, especially the left wing position.

On that note, it looks like the Reds could try to sign a Juventus player. The player in question is Kenan Yildiz. According to Fichajes, Liverpool are among the clubs closely monitoring his progress and maintaining a long-standing interest.

How This Move Could Benefit Liverpool’s Future Ambitions

Yildiz has earned the attention of some major clubs in Europe, with 18 goals and 15 assists in his 92 appearances for Juventus in all competitions.

The 20-year-old is an exceptional talent to add as an alternative to Cody Gakpo and has also been quite influential as a secondary striker or a number 10. His phenomenal dribbling skills and ability to score goals have seen the Turkish international enjoy a meteoric rise in Turin.

The defensive depth of Liverpool has been facing major issues with the injury issues of Ibrahima Konate and Giovanni Leoni, and signing a centre-back could be on their wish list for the future too.

However, it would not be a cakewalk for the Reds to get Yildiz signed, as Juventus hold his contract until 2029 and will not let him go unless a massive offer arrives.
