Young football stars staying in the limelight for all the wrong things is nothing new and Real Madrid superstar Kylian Mbappe, who was also a teenage sensation himself during his earlier days, came out to defend one of his colleagues from rival club Barcelona.

The player in discussion is Barca’s most promising talent, Lamine Yamal who has been involved in various controversies regarding his personal life as of late. From posing with divas to giving out bizarre parties, Lamine has been doing it all for the past few months but one cannot deny the talent he displays on the pitch and that also at such young age.

Mbappe while talking with Jorge Valdano on Spanish television channel Movistar ( Via : Forbes) talked about the 18-year-old saying, “I think you can see that he has a passion for football, and it’s the only thing he shouldn’t lose – the passion for football,” Mbappe told Valdano.

The Real Madrid man also added,”The rest is his life and people talk a lot about his personal life, his things. I think people have to leave him alone. They have to accept that in football he is a great player, but in life he is an 18-year-old boy. And at 18 years old everyone makes mistakes, there are things they do well, [and things] they do badly.”

“In the end he will have his life experience, he will know what is good for him, [and] what is bad. In the end we only have to look at what he does on the pitch, the rest is not important if it is not serious,”

The Frenchman talked like a perfect ambassador of the game while defending his young counterpart Yamal and also gave him some words of wisdom during the interview for a prosperous future as both players will lock horns on 26th October during the first El Classico of this season’s La Liga.

Mbappe also talked about his Real Madrid teammate Vinicius Junior saying, “He is a great player and a very good person. It’s normal, we know that people are going to talk about us but in the end we have the same objective at Madrid: to win titles.”

The 26-year-old will look to continue his goal scoring spree when Real Madrid face Getafe right after the international break and the fans would hope that bot Vini and Mbappe would combine well this season and win every tournament they play in.
