Real Madrid has done pretty well during the summer transfer window as they brought in players like Dean Huijsen, Alvaro Carreras, Franco Mastantuano and Trent Alexander Arnold in order to strengthen their squad for the tough season ahead.

Xabi Alonso has definitely got the squad depth which every manager in world football dreams of but it also sometimes becomes a curse if you’re unable to manage the dressing which is full of superstars as everyone of them would want to start every game but there are only 11 spots at a time.

Till now Alonso has been managing the squad pretty well with his rotations every now and then but it is never easy to keep the whole squad happy at a club like Real Madrid and a recent incident at Los Blancos will definitely dishearten two of their English stars.

As reported by The Sun (Via: GOAL) Jude Bellingham and Trent Alexander Arnold has missed out on featuring in the Real Madrid Calendar this year which costs £10.99 in which Bellingham was in the cover last time round. This would definitely feel like rubbing salt to their wounds given their current situation at the club.

The Los Blancos duo are currently not having time of their lives in the Spanish capital as Bellingham who was seen as an untouchable player under Carlo Ancelotti is now fighting for his spot in the starting 11 after a shoulder surgery which he recovered late than expected and has started only one game since his return which was the Madrid derby where they lost 2-5 against Atletico Madrid.

On the other hand Trent who was brought in by paying Liverpool an extra £8.4 million for an early release before the expiry of his contract and was thought be the solution to the problems at the full back position which Los Blancos faced for the past few seasons but his injury against Marseille in the Champions league and was expected to return to full fitness in six to eight weeks but we might see him on the pitch against Getafe after the international break.

The 27-year-old full back could still regain his starting role in the squad as his colleague Dani Carvajal is also in the twilight of his career and facing minor injuries but for Jude, despite having Alonso’s faith in him, might just have to be at his level best if he is to bench other  youngsters like Arda Guler and Mastantuano.

Despite their recent omission from the calendar, the duo remains to be regarded highly by the Real Madrid management and the fans would only want them to succeed wearing the Royal White shirt as soon as possible.
