Real Madrid brought quite a few fresh faces during the summer transfer window namely Dean Huijsen, Alvaro Carreras, Franco Mastantuano and Trent Alexander Arnold in order to strengthen the squad led by new manager Xabi Alonso.

Garcia finished the tournament as its top goalscorer alongside Angel Di Maria, Serhou Guirassy and Marcos Leonardo as all them netted four goals each. Given the 21 year old’s performance in the Club World Cup, Real extended the player’s contract till 2030 showing confidence in his abilities.

Although since the start of the season Garcia played only 101 minutes in all competitions for Los Blancos and failed to make any goal contributions during this period.

In a recent interview with MARCA , Garcia talked about his recent situation at the club saying, “My only option has always been to stay at Real Madrid. For me, it’s a dream to be part of the first team. And for now, I’m very happy and content with the decision I made,”

He also added, “We’re talking about the best club in the world, and the competition is going to be fierce, because the best in the world are always here. But for me, having spent so many years in the youth academy and having been a Real Madrid fan since I was a kid, it’s a true dream to be part of the first team, and I don’t regret a single thing.”

Real Madrid fans would definitely be happy with the words of their young striker but for a talented 21-year-old like Garcia will be hungry for minutes and it is to be seen as for how long the Los Blancos management would be able to keep him contempt with his current situation at the club.
