Real Madrid came out victorious from last Sunday’s El Clasico against Barcelona as goals from Kylian Mbappe and Jude Bellingham helped Los Blancos win by two goals to one against their fierce rivals.
The Xabi Alonso led side played a fantastic game throughout the ninety minutes giving nothing to the Blaugranas except the goal scored by Fermin Lopez. The players were active both with and without the ball while being in sync with each other playing out a brilliant pressing game.
As the game was getting into the closing stages, things started to heat up as emotions were flying high. The Real Madrid players and fans were already agitated by Lamine Yamal’s comments previously and the the desperation to give a befitting reply to the not so sporting conduct from Yamal was growing every minute.
Everyone with a white shirt on was highly charged up inside the Santiago Bernabeu, especially their number seven, Vinicius Junior, who is known to be highly emotional towards the game.
Real Madrid superstar issues apology after Clasico misconduct
Despite his brilliant performance, Vini failed to get into the scoresheet and in the 72nd minute Alonso decided to take him off the field and bring on Rodrygo which seemingly came to dislike of the Brazilian winger as he stormed off the pitch in anger which was seen as a disrespect to the club management and his colleagues by many around the club.
Reports of Vinicius’ departure from the Spanish capital started spreading like wildfire as he has been linked with the Saudi league and Paris Saint-Germain by various news outlets lately and his contract is due to expire in 2027.
But a recent apology issued by the Real Madrid superstar in his social media handles will surely calm the situation for the time being as reports suggests that the club will not be taking any disciplinary action against the player.
According to the Madrid Universal, Los Blancos manager has also appreciated the gesture from Vinicius and completely understands the player’s emotions as it is important for a player to understand and rectify his mistakes.
Undoubtedly this will further strengthen the bond between the player and the manager but is to be seen whether Vini starts against Girona this weekend or not.
