Now it’s time for Alonso to do the same as Real Madrid superstar Vinicius is reportedly unhappy with his current situation at the club as the Brazilian is no longer a guaranteed starter at the club due to recent dip in form which has been a concern for Los Blancos since the arrival of Mbappe in Madrid.
According to various news outlets, the 25-year-old has been asking for a contract renewal since the Club World Cup as he looks for a significant rise in his salary structure at Los Blancos but the club is currently unlikely to make any changes to his contract which runs until 2027 given the current form of the players as he was ranked 16th in this year’s Ballon d’Or rankings although there is no love lost between Real and Vinicius as the club still considers the Brazilian as a pivotal player for the present and the future.
Real Madrid superstar eager to renew contract amidst uncertain future
As reported by MARCA, Vinicius sees his future in the Spanish capital for which his agent Frederico Pena met with Jose Angel Sanchez at Valdebebas but as it stands the club will most likely stick to their decision and not make any new offers as of now.
As seen previously, Madrid do not compromise in their stance and has previously let go of players like Cristiano Ronaldo and Sergio Ramos who were an integral part of Los Blancos’ European three peat winning squad and have etched their names in the club’s history, as a result Vinicius’ situation at the club might become worse if his camp keeps on persisting on a contract renewal along with a fee hike.
Vinicius will have to prove his worth with his quality on the pitch if he is to increase his value at the club as chances will be there as Los Blancos are in for a long season ahead.
