Alongside these new signings, there are a few players who might have to make way in the coming transfer windows as there can only be so many players in the squad and Alonso would like to keep the players who fits into his way of football.

With their departure Real Madrid will have to look for potential replacements next summer and according to reports they have already shortlisted a few in Liverpool‘s Ibrahima Konate and Bayern Munich’s Dayot Upamecano being the best-placed targets while Arsenal’s William Saliba is also an option.
Another player who could also be a possible summer signing next season is, Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi. As reported by SPORT, the England international has told his agent to initiate talks with Los Blancos as his contract with Palace runs out next summer.

Guehi has been solid in defence for the Premier league side as they kept 11 clean sheets last season while scoring three goals and providing three assists.
The 25-year-old is as tall as Dean Huijsen or Antonio Rudiger but his defensive ability has attracted a offers from Manchester United and Barcelona but the player dreams of donning the Royal White next season and the club is also reportedly open hold talks with Guehi’s camp.
This could be another free agent signing for Los Blancos after after signing David Alaba in 2021, Antonio Rudiger in 2022, Kylian Mbappe in 2024 and Alexander-Arnold, who would have joined for free if Real had decided to wait, in 2025 but they had to pay a €10m (£8.4m) fee in June, it was just to accelerate the move so he could be registered in time to play in the Club World Cup.
Guehi might not be a starter at Madrid right away but his with his defensive qualities, the Englishman could give Eder Militao a healthy competition for a spot in the starting eleven next season.
