Chelsea prioritising youngsters over experienced and proven players has been the trend recently with the new management at helm at the Stamford Bridge as they signed players like Estevao, Alejandro Garnacho, Jamie Gittens and Mikhailo Mudryk to add to their attacking lineup.

The Blues squad is filled with players who are expected to rise up to the occassion and also become superstars in the coming years. For such a inexperienced squad, the results Chelsea have been getting are quite remarkable.

The current wingers are so young that Pedro Neto, who is only 25 years of age, is the senior most player in terms of age in the current Chelsea forward line.

According to German outlet Absolute Fussball (via : Chelsea News) the Blues are after teenage winger Said El Mala who only made his first team debut with Bundesliga side FC Koln this season.

The German international scored two goals and also provided an assist in seven games in all competitions for Koln this season and is rated highly by the German football community.

El Mala is also wanted by Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund and the youngsters current contract with Koln expires in 2030 and the 19-year-old would expectedly have a asking rate of €50 million if he decides leave his current club in the upcoming transfer windows.

Chelsea currently have four wingers at their helm and a fifth in the form of Geovany Quenda who is expected to arrive next summer as the Blues reached an agreement with Sporting Lisbon earlier this year.

Although with the given schedule of games one would like to have as much squad depth as possible as dealing with injuries becomes a major concern for any club these days.

Chelsea’s current plans for the winter transfer window is still unknown but if they decide to go for 19-year-old El Mala they would definitely have to pay a hefty price as Bayern and Dortmund would definitely come first in the minds of any German player looking to complete his first transfer.
